Austin joined Stifel in 2012 after previously working for Raymond James for nearly two years.  He graduated from Missouri Western State University in 2008, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and was inducted into Omicron Delta Epsilon for high scholastic achievement in the field of economics.  He also earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification in 2015 after completing coursework at Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies.  In doing so, he received training on the duties of good faith and standards of care, insurance reviews, tax strategies, as well as estate planning issues and retirement planning.

In 2019, Austin was named to Stifel's President's Council. This year’s President’s Council consists of 160 of Stifel’s top-producing financial advisors.  Stifel currently employs approximately 2,200 financial advisors nationwide.

Austin takes the time to meet with his clients on a regular basis to review investments, update retirement plans, explain what they own and why they own it, and address any questions.

Austin and his wife, Laura, live in St. Joseph and have two children, Elliana and Dillon.  Austin enjoys meeting new people, spending time with family and friends, and attending and watching sporting events including golf, football, and baseball.
